Surgical Assistant
South Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Location: 12983 Southern Blvd, Suite 203, Bldg #4, Royal Palm Beach, FL, 33470
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team at South Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in suction, sterilization, surgery assist, bed side manners, transcribing medical history, taking x-rays, prepping rooms, and being computer savvy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures
- Provide suction during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Assist with patient care and bed side manners
- Transcribe medical history and other patient information
- Take xrays as needed
- Prepare surgical rooms for procedures
- Be computer savvy and able to use electronic medical records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
